I have a confession to make: I’m addicted to traveling.
There’s no denying that I’ve always prioritized traveling above most other experiences. For decades, I’ve been hopping from one city to another, always eager to explore different cultures, try out new cuisines, and seek out new adventures. And the best part? They not only fulfill my desire for discovery and exploration, but they also benefit my work in many ways!
In my many travels, I have been fortunate enough to visit some incredible cities, each with its own unique flair. From the fast-paced, high-tech metropolis of Tokyo, to the timeless blend of ancient and modern in Athens, and the bustling innovation hub of Tel Aviv, I have experienced some of the world’s most dynamic and exciting cities.
As a consumer insights specialist, I’m always on the lookout for fresh trends and behaviors that can enrich my work. While I could easily spend my days glued to my laptop, scouring social media and crunching data, nothing compares to the eye-opening experience of immersing yourself in a new culture and seeing firsthand how different societies interact with products, their approach to technology and how they integrate it into their daily lives. Trust me; it’s a mind-blowing revelation every time!
Traveling has not only allowed me to catch a fresh breath of air when I feel burnt out, but It has also given me the opportunity to attend industry events, meet with thought leaders and innovators, and expand my professional network with people from all over the world. It’s like expanding your LinkedIn connections but in real life! And let’s not forget the amazing stories I get to hear and share with others.
But beyond the professional benefits, I find traveling a life-changing experience that broadens your horizons, encourages you to question your assumptions, and inspires you to see yourself, your family, and the world in new and exciting ways!
